For National Geographic’s Year Million, we developed a series of design explorations inspired by the series’ vision of life in the near and distant future. We explored a visual language around artificial intelligence, human evolution, technology and advances in medicine and biology. Brains, bodies, cities and the planet are reconstructed through particles and interconnected networks, creating a world that feels both organic and digital. The result was a range of styleframes and motion concepts translating these complex ideas into a distinctive graphic world.
